This prompt couldnt have come at a better time. The journalling on my card says "This week I am proud to say that I waitressed a Saturday night at the Cottage.". This might sound corny and simple, but theres a whole other level of being 'proud' in there. Down the side of my card it says 'confident'. This is something that alot of people find strange about me. I have the confidence to do public speaking, sing in front of an audience or perform on a stage. But I dont have the confidence to try new things, or go somewhere without a close friend or family member holding my hand.
When I first started working at the Cottage, I told myself I would NEVER EVER waitress there. And now, 2 years later I have. And it wasnt too bad. This has shown me that even if I take a long time to do it (in this case, 2 1/2 years...), I CAN try new things, and I should never say never.
